Jean leggings have made a comeback like no other. These things have become so popular in today’s hip hop and fashion scene it is truly incredible. The craziest part is jean leggings are not only popular with the ladies, they are becoming overwhelmingly popular with the men as well.
Jean leggings are referred to as other names like jeggings, a term put together by the obvious “jean” and “leggings”, and now even more common in today’s fashion scene skinny jeans. Skinny jeans are all the rage in the hip hop scene and it is spreading like a wildfire through every genre of music and every sector of fashion. If you take a trip to any high school or college it seems as though every person there is wearing some form of jean leggings or skinny jeans.

The great thing about jean leggings in particular is that there is really nothing does not go well with these things since essentially they are just jeans that are, well skinnier. These particular leggings come in many different styles and colors including black, brown, blue jean, orange, green, purple, really any color you can think of, I guarantee there are jean leggings out there to match.

You may be asking yourself the same question we were wondering, “What constitutes jean leggings versus a regular pair of jeans?” Well they are several things. First of  jean leggings are not always made of denim, and typically they are made of a stretchy material with a lot of elasticity to them. But skinny jeans, which as we have discussed can also be a form of jean leggings, are a little bit different than the typical jeggings we are referring to here.

Skinny jeans, or skinnies for short, have a snug fit through the legs and most importantly end in a much smaller leg opening than most regular jeans which can get down to about 9 inches and the larger ones are about 20 inches depending on the size of the jean legging itself. The main different between a skinny jean and a pair of regular jeans is not only the fact they are much tighter fitting to your legs, it is actually the fact that skinny jeans taper to a very small tight fit at the opening near the feet.

Whatever you call them, jean leggings have definitely hit not only the fashion scene but the general public extremely hard and they show no sign of slowing down either.
